Day 1: Arrival/Tbilisi City Tour
  • Meet and greet in Tbilisi, transfer airport/hotel
  • Narikala Fortress - 4th century overlooking Tbilisi, reached by ropeway
  • Holy Trinity Cathedral (“Sameba”) - main cathedral of Georgian Orthodox Church
  • Mtatsminda park - beautiful family park atop the hill reached by funicular
  • St. George Armenian Church - 13th c. church near the old district of Tbilisi

Day 2: Tbilisi - Kakhetia 
  • St. Nino Monastery - one of the major pilgrimage sites in Georgia from the  9th c.
  • St. Nino’s Spring - emerged through Nino’s prayers and is believed to have a healing power according to a local legend
  • Signagi Town sightseeing - small cozy Georgian town in Kakhetia region with wine making traditions

Day 3: Kakhetia – Tbilisi
  • Kvareli, Alazani Valley - one of the biggest wine making regions in Georgia near Alazani River
  • Kindzmarauli Wine Factory - wine tasting and factory tour  
  • Tsinandali Village - estate and historic winery belonged to the 19th-century aristocratic poet Chavchavadze
  • Telavi Town - sightseeing in the administrative center of Kakhetia province

Day 4: Tbilisi - Mtskheta – Gori 
  • Jvari Monastery - standing on the rocky mountaintop, the 6th c. monastery overlooks the town of Mtskheta, World Heritage Site by UNESCO
  • Svetitskhoveli Cathedral - second largest cathedral in Georgia from the 12th century, World Heritage Site by UNESCO
  • Museum and house of Joseph Stalin in Gori - a touch of the Soviet Era
  • Uplistsikhe caves - one of the oldest urban settlements in Georgia

Day 5: Gori  - Gyumri
  • Borjomi - resort town with its famous Borjomi mineral waters
  • Rabati Castle - medieval castle complex in Akhaltsikhe
  • Vardzia - cave monastery site stretching along the cliff for some five hundred meters and in up to nineteen tiers

Day 6: Gyumri - Amberd - Yerevan
  • Gyumri City Tour - the second largest city of Armenia with extraordinary architecture
  • Armenian Alphabet Monument made from volcanic stone tufa
  • Amberd Fortress - 7th century fortress located on the slopes of Mt. Aragats at a height of 2,300 meters

Day 7: Yerevan City Tour - Ejmiatsin - Zvartnots - Yerevan
  • Republic Square, Opera House, Abovyan Street
  • Victory Park with a splendid view on Yerevan

  • Mother Cathedral Echmiadzin - first official church in Armenia
  • Ruins of Zvartnots Cathedral (7th century)

Day 8: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan
  • Arch of Charents with a bird eye view on Mt. Ararat
  • Garni temple - only pagan temple in Armenia from 1st century AD
  • Geghard Monastery - cave monastery from the 13th century hidden in the mountains

Day 9: Yerevan - Areni - Noravanq - Selim - Sevan - Dilijan
  • Areni wine tasting in wine factory
  • Noravanq Monastery - one of the jewels of Armenia from the 13-14th centuries
  • Selim Caravanseray - the best preserved caravanserai (14th century) in the region testifying the huge role of Armenia during the times of the Silk Route
  • Lake Sevan - one of the largest and highest fresh water lakes in the world (1900m)

Day 10: Dilijan - Haghartsin - Alaverdi - Haghpat - Tbilisi (airport)
  • Old Dilijan - short stroll in the old part of Dilijan
  • Haghartsin Monastery - beautifully situated monastery in the forrest
  • Haghpat Monastery - this UNESCO World Heritage Site gives you the opportunity to understand the monastic life of the 10th - 13th centuries
